APRIL BLUE is the legacy of a lost love triangle between founding members Ozz LP, Ian Morcher and the alluring April, the band's namesake. Emotional trauma and resolution have rendered the songwriters bound by history, friendship and will to succeed. The music that ties them together is inspired by artists from a range of genres and eras, fusing R&B and Rock with a strong focus on lyrics.

Though APRIL BLUE was borne of heartbreak, Ozz and Ian are childhood friends whose turbulent past has always found peace with their musical affinity. This well established connection is undeniably present in their music today, and finds its completion with the full lineup of Sarah Payne on keyboards and Jazzy Drums on kit. Whether duelling with guitars on stage or co-writing beats in the studio, APRIL BLUE have a musical unity that is truly seductive to listen to.

Tour & Sound:
Their sound has taken them all over the UK, and to Europe where they performed three shows at French festival 'Le Blues Autour Du Zinc' in 2013. At this time, they were touring their debut EP Notes - a mix of Rock, Soul and R&B that has garnered comparisons to Usher, Craig David and Eric Clapton (Listed Magazine). Their sophomore EP Music For Passengers is "a powerful compilation of emotionally-fuelled seductive pop" (Do More Magazine) and has been toured at a host of prestigious London venues including The Water Rats and The Pheasantry, not to mention SKY TV and BBC Radio. Other acts that APRIL BLUE are most frequently compared to include: Jamiroquai, Maroon 5, and Incubus.
